Story of a middle class small town youngster who joins the Indian Army for the same reasons as most of the youngsters of his kind to get a decent job and get past the worries of an uncertain future. An unplanned life that simply happened , mostly as a result of a sequence of events unfolding in quick succession landing him into a life in the olive green uniform. A life where the uniform became a second skin and people he lived with became the second family. The story goes beyond the crosshairs of the rifle and the smell of the gun powder, away from the sub zero temperatures of the difficult mountains, removed from the treacherous conditions at the borders - a life full of fun, frolic and camaraderie less known to the world outside the cantonments. A life on a roller coaster where every day brought in new surprises – mostly pleasant ones but not always!
