Ink Spilled All Over The Leaves is a collection of more than 100 poems exploring subjects like love, loss, heartbreak, growing pains, nostalgia, and passed-down family stories. Time can’t be held inside our palms, but words can capture moments in time like a mirror reflection, right where it began and right where it stopped. Maybe a little twisted at times, sometimes dreamy, and often piercingly cruel, but just exactly the thing that the heart wants. Ink Spilled All Over The Leaves is a collection of the different pieces of this mirror, reflecting different faces, different events and different feelings in our life.

About the Author
Mahima Singh Thakur, a 21-year-old computer science student, found herself lost in the world of books in her preteen years as a hand-me-down trait from her Mumma and Nani, and the best one in her opinion. But she didn’t stumble upon the magical flawlessness of poetry until the age of sixteen when she came across a second-hand book, a collection of poems by various famous poets, including her forever favourite, Emily Dickinson. At that point, she knew, no matter where life tossed her, she would happily trudge through everything with her love of poetry. She loves exploring everything mundane in hopes of living her life parallel to a Studio Ghibli character. And while she’s not lost in her own world, she works for Nazli, a non-profit organization and as a content writer for Rise Women, a community for changemakers. Being an introvert, Mahima found writing as a way not to escape, but to help her be more intune with herself and the people in her life. Ink Spilled All Over The Leaves is her first book, and she hopes it lands in the hands of someone who would truly appreciate it.
