Hiraeth There are words I never said. And then, there are poems. Hiraeth is a feeling, a memory, a name no longer spoken out loud. A collection of micro poems and longer verses that drift like unsent letters, whispered prayers, and dreams half-remembered. Drawn from the ache of remembering, these pages invite you to sit with love, loss and longing. To trace the outlines of absence, and maybe, in that quiet unravelling, feel a little less alone. If you have ever loved in silence, grieved without a funeral waited for someone who never know you were waiting, or whispered “come back” into the night- this book might be yours

"(Ann's) language is both unflinching and delicate, brutal in its honesty and tender in its metaphors." POEMS INDIA Stray Ghosts Sleep on Lily Pads is a collection of raw, unflinching coming-of-age poetry that captures the rugged, uncertain terrain of adolescence. Blurring the fine line between fictional and confessional worlds, all forty-three poems peer into the nostalgic grief of childhood, the desperate anguish of teenage, and the abysmal shadows of mental health struggles that loom overhead as one drifts slowly into adulthood. Yet, amidst the wreckage, there is hope, redemption, and the riotous act of blooming while planted knee-deep in dirt. Through an unfiltered, stream-of-consciousness narrative, Stray Ghosts Sleep on Lily Pads attempts to map a lone teenager's anarchic outburst from darkness into light.

  • About The Book Inspired by the extraordinary life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this epic poem chronicles his journey from birth to his legacy, illuminating the genius of a king who forged a kingdom from adversity. It is a humble endeavor to portray Shivaji Maharaj not just as a historical figure, but as a leader who championed Swaraj, or self-rule, against formidable opposition from the Muslim sultanates of the Deccan and the mighty Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The poem delves into the formative influence of his mother, Jijau, and his father, Shahaji Raje, who instilled in him the vision for a kingdom built for the welfare and autonomy of his people, not for personal gain. Through its verses, it recreates the atmosphere of Shivaji's era, highlighting his unwavering commitment to his people and his unshakeable resolve in the face of adversity. This work is a tribute to Shivaji's leadership and the collective spirit of his companions who stood by him, exemplifying the values of loyalty, duty, and sacrifice. Muted voices is a collection of brief writings which hold the things we swallow, thoughts burried to keep the peace. Each piece is brief, almost quiet. This is not fiction, not a decorative poetry, not comfort writing. It is a record of self-silencing and voices muted by love, fear, duty, and survival. Read it slowly. Or don't read it at all. But if you have ever learned to stay quiet to remain intact, this book is for you. About the Author I belong to a profession, I never chose but now I love it. Same happened with this writing part of my life. I didn't chose it. From just Journaling to being an aspiring writer. From writing usually to loving it and finding it a means of shelter and getting passionate towards it. My own words often raise doubts against my identity though I am seeking my identity within these words. My writing has been an alteration of Inner grief into acceptance. I am none but one who is somehow alienated.
