About The Author

A storyteller and poet with a Masters in English Literature, Poornachandra grew up watching women like his Maa adjust their worlds to grew up others. Pandora’s box of secrets holding the whispered truths of everyone from friends to strangers-he weaves their stories into narratives that hit like late-night chal talks. Inspired by Maa’s tireless breadwinning, his sisters’ care, his pen challenges the “adjust kar lo” (just adjust) script. With a philosopher-punk heart, he crafts tales that spark questions: When does “Hanji” (yes, sir) become “nahi” (no)? This debut book, born from those whispers, is his call to rewrite the script for women -and men-who dare to listen.
