About The Book
Statutory Warning: This story contains themes of child abuse, drug abuse, and the devastating cracks in the legal system. Reader discretion is advised.
Iza just wants to breathe-break rules, taste freedom, and chase the beauty of a home wrapped in conflict. Her only anchor? Protecting her family at all costs. Ifat clings to the truths that shaped her, the values that ground her in a place both loved and feared. Saving a stranger might just unlock a deeper love for a child she never knew she needed. Two women. One dream. A shared hunger for light in a land cloaked in shadows. But The Valley doesn’t hand out happy endings. It tests them-forces them to fight those they love, bleed for those they protect, and survive a life where war isn’t a headline. It’s the routine. Welcome to Kashmir, where hope is rebellion and survival, an act of courage
