About the book Mother, after years of sacrifice and penance has established an egalitarian commune with a sole intention to reach total freedom and harmony. While the commune achieve fame and success, their intentions are being scrutinised by the public. Their success brings about more doubts and suspicion and if they are really as good as they preach. Her son Loki, along with her loyal followers engage in many activities to put forward their ideas of peace and understanding. They stand by the fact that they are totally devoted to their principles. The commune members immediately start working on the projects with devotion and commitment while going through the hardships of the public and their past. Mothers presence constantly provides them with a soothing effect to keep going. Enthusiastic young volunteers join the commune to help them carry on their vision while they themselves learn a lot about the traditions and practices to live peacefully The commune members are happy and content to serve the people. By assigning them such welfare work, Mother shows them that that only by serving others shall they reap good things and be free of their past karma. Mother and her children have their meditation sessions in the Sun temple under the open sky and amidst Nature. These sessions become a doorway for many of them to seek the truth. This is a story about a commune led by a Mother, a divine presence, to help people battle their restless thoughts and be persistent to find the truth within themselves.

Can we ever live in peace and harmony? Can we bring about a healthier mental mindset by just being there for each other with no prejudices and divisions? This book is a very open interpretation of the author, about what is happening around him and his thoughts. He deduces various theories, and generalisations about the small and the big occurring's which he thinks and feels holds true during the time of his writing. It isn't a philosophical telling, rather only an analysis and theory which he himself doesn't strictly abide by but he has experienced nonetheless. Overall, the book opines to the fact that he is dealing with a barrage of thoughts and emotions, and that dealing with our mental turbulence needs to be spoken more about in our everyday society, especially in such a diverse country like India where there so many opinions and miscommunications, hoping that we can find similarity amongst us. Speaking out is the easiest way to come out our dark phases of life and in that we can find another one experiencing the same hoping for peace and harmony.
