About the Book: Between Winter and Spring is a collection of poems about longing, heartbreak, self-discovery, healing, and hope. The collection follows the emotional journey from searching for love and belonging, through the coldness of loss and loneliness, toward healing, self-discovery, and eventually hope. Some poems were written within minutes, while others took days or even longer to take shape. Together, they preserve different moments from a journey that was never originally meant to become a book. The title reflects the central idea of the collection: even the harshest winter eventually gives way to spring. Darkness and pain may feel endless while we are living through them, but they do not have to be the end of the story. The book is ultimately a reminder that healing takes time, that we are not alone in our struggles, and that there is always a possibility of warmth and renewal beyond the coldest seasons of life. About the Author: Kishankumar Patel is a writer and poet who began writing during his high-school years, initially in Hindi and Gujarati before gradually finding his voice in English. Writing became a way for him to understand and express emotions that were often difficult to put into words. His poetry explores love, loss, longing, self-doubt, healing, friendship, and the quiet journey of finding oneself again. He writes under the name Solune, a name inspired by the Sun and the Moon—symbols of light and darkness existing together, much like the contrasting emotions that shape our lives. Between Winter and Spring is his first poetry collection.
