About The Book

Dhairya was born into a world already dreaming without him. In a quiet, broken home, under the weight of a brother who outshone everything, he learned early how to disappear.
The army gave him purpose—structure, fire, a reason to keep moving. But it also gave him shadows. Some bled on the battlefield. Others followed him home.
Then came Ishita. She didn’t reach for the broken parts; she just sat with them. With her, the silence felt different—less empty, more alive.
But the past doesn’t stay buried. It watches. Waits. And sometimes, what we carry in the dark learns to whisper back.
