How to Target Audience for Your Book

All potential readers of your book are not part of your primary target demographic. A very narrow list of people who are most likely to pick up your book when they see it on the shelf or at a bookstore should be your primary target audience.

It’s challenging for anyone older than thirty to write a middle grade book without having heard of TikTok. It’s crucial to be aware of the language, vernacular, and trends utilized by your audience. Knowing your target audience is crucial for conducting research since you can find out what topics twelve-year-olds are currently interested in if you know that they are your intended audience. Finding agents, editors, and publishers interested in promoting books to a certain demographic will be easier if you are aware of your target audience.
