Prabhat Prabakar

"A distinguished director and screenwriter with over 24 years of experience in the Hindi television and film industry, the author hails from Belarahi Village in Madhubani District, Bihar. He completed his primary education in his village and graduated from Ranchi, Jharkhand. While in Ranchi, he spent 10 years immersed in commercial theater and achieved the top honor at the National Youth Festival of India. He went on to earn a Diploma in Dramatics with a Gold Medal from Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow, before moving to Mumbai to advance his career in filmmaking. Currently, he is directing a television show and pursuing research at Mumbai University on the life and work of the renowned filmmaker Bimal Roy."
